Summer camp season is over with our last camp wrapped up last week. Kids had lots of fun developing computer games in Python and getting introduced to robotics and 3d printing. We would like to thank all parents who have invested in their kids education and thank all instructors and volunteers that made this program a success.
Camp material, sounds, images and Python exercises and game can be downloaded here.
Python can be found and installed from here. And finally the instructions on how to install Pygame library is here.
Many students took their work home on a USB drive. If anyone of you is missing their code and would like to get a copy, please contact us and we will be happy to send it to you.
Traditionally I’m posing some of the photos from last week:
We had an amazing time at the camp. Guys have learned a lot about web development and programming. We covered HTML, CSS, JavaScript and talked a bit about PHP.
All the websites guys have built through the week can be found below:
And of course the photos!
Out camp is coming to an end. We have covered a lot of ground on Python and now know much more about building blocks of this programming language. We have put together a real computer game and learned about robotics programming using NAO robots.
Here are some photos from the camp. Game files are here.
I would like to congratulate all participants with completion of our intermediate level program on Python/NAO programming. I would also thank all parents for making their child development a priority. Special thanks to our volunteers. Your time and patience is highly appreciated. I’m posting here the links to all course examples we worked on last week as well as some more photos.
Link to Python and all resources files are here.
Link to Pygame installer (is needed to run some programs from the course) is here.
